Dino Days & Erupting Volcanoes! 
Our kindy students traveled back in time—65 million years ago—to the age of the dinosaurs! These giant creatures once ruled the Earth… until something explosive happened.
Some scientists believe that massive volcanic eruptions, along with an asteroid impact, helped cause the extinction of the dinosaurs. The sky turned dark, the Earth shook, and the world changed forever!
To bring this moment to life, our teachers made their own erupting volcano using a fun science experiment!
What we used:
Baking soda 
Vinegar 
Dish soap 
Red food coloring 
A volcano model
When we mixed the baking soda and vinegar, it caused a chemical reaction that created foamy “lava” that bubbled up and erupted—just like a real volcano!
It was a blast from the past—and a bubbling science lesson we’ll never forget!
