Grade 2 Math Lesson: Adding 2-Digit Numbers! 
Learning about the addition of 2-digit numbers can be daunting for our Grade 2 learners as they are just beginning to explore larger numbers. At first, they may feel unsure or overwhelmed, but through a student-centered approach, they discover that learning to add 2-digit numbers can be both fun and engaging.
By breaking 2-digit numbers into "tens" and "units," students are able to visualize the addition process more clearly and build a stronger understanding of place value. This foundation prepares them with confidence for working with even larger numbers in the future.
Our pupils are highly encouraged to participate actively during class discussions, helping them develop not only their mathematical skills but also their confidence—one answer at a time!
